Firstly... THANK YOU for your patience. We had a big delay with the platform we use to get our lovely posts across to you. We are back!!
So, as we are already into our month... we have already had our first Academy Online Session. Thank you for your energy and focus, it was a great class and lovely to be coaching you all online again.
This week sees our other two sessions for Shields Academy.
Friday 25th October - Shields Academy - Mock Casting Session
Sunday 27th October - Shields Academy - In Person Practical Session in South Shields
I'm really happy to share with you that Libby Walker will be taking both of these classes. As a Producer, Libby is no stranger to being on the audition panel. She will be taking you through a mock audition for a BBC Series. The knowledge she will be sharing is one not to miss... please email me to say if you are attending one or both sessions.
Scripts are attached below, please choose which one you would like to do and bring this to the session. Who knows, maybe you will be auditioning for real in the future with Libby!

"Everyone is to read for JESSIE in SCRIPT 1 unless you feel confident and comfortable enough to read for THE SOCIAL NETWORK. I would suggest anyone who's casting sits at 16 and above read for a character in SCRIPT 2 - THE SOCIAL NETWORK.
PLEASE treat this as an actual casting and be OFF BOOK as much as possible. It's good to get used to learning lines in a short period of time for real castings, as they usually have a very quick turn around.
